Voting ends in Kamchatka
Voting at the Russian parliamentary elections has ended in Kamchatka. All the 210 polling stations closed at 08:00 p.m. local time, including 180 in Kamchatka Region and 30 in Koryak Autonomous District. As a REGNUM correspondent is told at the regional election commission today, no significant violations have been registered during the voting process.
According to most recent reports, by 07:00 p.m. local time (10:00 a.m. Moscow time), 53.86% of eligible voters went to the polling stations. Final data on the turnout will be announced not earlier than at 03:00 – 04:00 a.m. local time on December 3, when the regional election commission will start receiving protocols from polling stations. First outcomes of the voting are expected to appear at the same time. According to the Russian election law, no information on outcomes of the elections can be published till the last polling station closes (the last Russian region to close its polling stations at 08:00 p.m. local time is Kaliningrad Region; in Moscow it will be 09:00 p.m.).
Overall, the voting process in Kamchatka has been calm. No serious violations have been registered.
