Abkhaz people have bigger chance to be recognized than Albanians: Expert
Kosovo might become a precedent in the issue of international recognition of Abkhazia, said deputy chairman of the commission for international cooperation at the Russia’s Public Chamber Sergey Markov at a news conference Dec 7.
REGNUM cites Markov to state that Abkhaz people have bigger than Albanians chance to be recognized. We try to avoid getting into a conflict with the west, but if they recognize Kosovo, then recognition of Abkhazia will become quite real, too. Markov also has remarked that Russia supports the people of Abkhazia in their striving to establish an acceptable for them way of life on their land.
