Timoshenko hints on Ukraine's position on Kosovo
Prime minister of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko is convinced that, in order to determine its position on Kosovo, Ukraine must decide if it should regard solving the issue of the territory as a unique phenomenon. REGNUM correspondent, referring to the prime minister's press service, cites her to state this on March 11 in Brussels.
We must come up with a concept of how to regard the issue: as a unique phenomenon in the world, or in the context of existence of Transtdestr, Abkhazia, Ossetia, and so on. If Ukraine and world organizations decide on how to treat the matter, Ukrain will be able to take corresponding decisions, Ukrainian prime minister said. She also remarked that the Kosovo problem today is being discussed by Ukranian politicum.
Today, Ukraine has not decided on its official position regarding Kosovo.
