Russian foreign minister: Russia will give not a childish response to NATO expansion eastwards
NATO expansion eastwards “will not come unnoticed,” said Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov. According to a REGNUM correspondent, while speaking at a session of the Russian parliament today, on April 2, Lavrov said: “But we shall prove a pragmatic reaction, not like small kids at school, who became offended for being hurt and slammed the door while running out of the classroom and started crying somewhere in a corner.”
Lavrov announced that Russia must “focus upon its economic power and secure its defense potential.” “We are prepared for various scenarios of developments,” the Russian foreign minister announced.
