Real estate prices in Moscow and Moscow Region expected to stabilize in summer

  According to the DAILYSTROY analytical center, there were no serious changes in the Moscow real estate market in the beginning of May. The average price per sq. m. remained at the previous level, which has been fixed at $ 6,597.

In the secondary market of Moscow Region, no essential changes have been fixed within the week either. The average price per sq. m. in the market increased totally by 0.6%, and amounted to $3,554.

The average prices in cities located behind the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD) are looking as follows:

• 1^st zone (up to 10-15 km from MKAD) — the price rose by 0.3% and reached $3,985 per sq. m.;

• 2^nd zone (15-30 km from MKAD) — the price rose by 1.9%, up to a level of $3, 284 per sq. m..;

• 3^rd zone (the first zone of the Concrete Ring around the Moscow) — the price fell by 0.3%, to a level of $2,558 per sq. m.

The slowdown processes of the price groth in the real estate market of Moscow Region are connected to the holidays period and the beginning of the summer season. In the long term, there will be no essential price boom in the market, as it was earlier. During the summer season, the prices in the real estate market of Moscow and Moscow Region are expected to stabilize and changes of the prices will not exceed the inflation rate.
