In Sukhumi was killed the Deputy Interior Minister Zakan Dzhugelia, reports a REGNUM correspondent.

Murder was enacted around 8 pm (Moscow time) in a “Kiki” café, in the center of the city. An unknown entered the cafe, fired at Dzhugelia and disappeared to an undisclosed direction. Zakan Dzhugelia was taken to the republic’s hospital, where he died under an operation.

Police started an operation “intercept”.
