Norwegian ecological Bellona organization announced risk of nuclear catastrophe in Kola Peninsula in connection with construction of a new aluminum plant here.
As Barentsobserver informs, the plant is planned to be built in accordance with plans of the Norwegian industrial Hydro Company. The plant will use energy produced by Kola NPP, states researcher, employee of Econ Analyses Company Børn Brunstad. According to him, plans of Hydro Company may be considered as tactical move in struggle for participation in Stockman project.
As REGNUM has already informed, list of companies, which will exploit Stockman gaseous condensate field, is not approved. Two Norwegian companies – Statoil and Hydro actively struggle for the right.
