Iran's unmanned reconnaissance aircraft recorded US aircraft carrier in Persian Gulf

Iran's airforce have recorded a US aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf. The recording was broadcast by the IRI's al-Alam TV network. It informed that the recording was made by an unmanned reconnaissance aircraft.

Ten-day military exercise ''Great Prophet 2'' are being now completed in Iran. Their beginning coincided with the start of the naval maneuvers of the countries-members of the anti-Iraq coalition.

This is the first time that an Iranian aircraft managed to approach the US warships at so close a distance. The authenticity of the recording, however, is disputed by some experts, Ekho Moskvy reported.
