Finance Minister of Ukraine resigned
On February, 12 Finance Minister of Ukraine Victor Pinzenyk has submitted his resignation to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a REGNUM correspondent was informed at the press office of the ministry.
The statement reads as follows: “I have always occupied a professional position. A balanced budget, with a minimal level of deficit, restriction of debts, non-emission sources of financing the deficit – these and other principles were my working guidelines. The Finance Minister cannot change the situation, as well as his professional approaches.” “However, today it has no sense for me to occupy the position of the Finance Minister. In this respect, I have submitted my resignation to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.”, stressed Pinzenyk.
It is worth mentioning, this January Viktor Pinzenyk, the Finance Minister of Ukraine wrote a letter to Ukrainian Prime Minister Julia Timoshenko, where he detailed country’s forthcoming economic crash.
