Resident thieves Georgians, illegal migrants Moldavians: Ukraine may adopt a visa regime with Moldavia and Georgia
The ministry of internal affairs of Ukraine leaves open the possibility of adoption a visa regime with Moldova and Georgia, aiming to liquidate an ethnic criminality, declared Yuri Lutsenko, Interior Minister of Ukraine to journalists. According to him, Interior Ministry of Ukraine forces the issue and already had appealed with a request to Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, concerning the adoption of visa regime with these countries.
Lutsenko explained that the main problem of Ukraine is the visa-free regime with the citizens of Moldova, who entered the territory of Ukraine with Romanian passports, aiming further intrusion to EU countries, like Poland and Slovakia. In this context the Interior Minister stressed, that visa-free regime through the western borders of European Union is a great danger.
As for Georgia, according to Lutsenko, the question is about activation of criminal groups, consisting of Georgian citizens, who are specialized in housebreaking. Lutsenko specified that almost 150 Georgian criminal groups which commit most of housebreaking in the country had been identified on Ukraine.
